The Carrara Rd House is situated in one of Sydney’s most prestigious locations - Cararra Road, nestled behind the Heritage Strickland house and Milk Beach. The client's unique brief aimed at creating a space that utilised the natural landscape, and the views whilst emphasising the experience of calmness and tranquillity, combining detailed architecture and interior design with breathtaking views of Sydney Harbour.

The home features openings that take advantage of the expansive views, with an open floor plan that enhances, functionality, flow and connectivity between spaces and between levels. Natural materials such as stone and timber reflect The Design's focus on natural materials which create softness, warmth and comfort throughout the home.

The interior design and architecture were designed in conjunction with each other. A thoughtfully curated palette that complements the stunning surroundings, utilising soft tones and organic textures for a warm, inviting atmosphere. Expansive outdoor balconies and landscaped gardens encourage outdoor living, providing tranquil spaces to enjoy picturesque sunsets. This residence not only celebrates its exceptional location but also embodies a harmonious blend of elegance, comfort, and sustainability, showcasing the architectural vision of The Design Interiors and Architecture.
